Candidate Personal Data Processing Principles (English)

1. Introduction

Atlantsson, operating under Nordicwave, MB (hereinafter referred to as "Atlantsson," "we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of every individual who engages with us throughout our recruitment and talent acquisition processes.

As a global enterprise AI, automation, and digital transformation consultancy, Atlantsson collaborates with organizations across Europe and internationally, including the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, and other jurisdictions.

As part of our business activities, we identify, assess, and engage talented professionals for employment opportunities, freelance engagements, contractor positions, internships, consulting assignments, and other forms of collaboration with Atlantsson or with our clients and strategic partners worldwide.

This Candidate Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect, how and why we process it, the legal bases on which we rely, how long we retain it, with whom it may be shared, how we protect it, and the rights available to candidates under applicable privacy laws.

We are committed to processing personal data fairly, lawfully, transparently, and responsibly while maintaining appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to safeguard your information.

By submitting an application or otherwise providing personal information during our recruitment activities, you acknowledge that your information will be processed in accordance with this Candidate Privacy Notice.

2. Scope

This Candidate Privacy Notice applies to individuals worldwide who interact with Atlantsson in connection with recruitment, talent acquisition, or professional collaboration opportunities.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Candidates applying for permanent employment.
  • Candidates applying for temporary employment.
  • Independent contractors and consultants.
  • Freelancers.
  • Interns and graduate applicants.
  • Candidates introduced through recruitment partners.
  • Individuals recommended through professional referrals.
  • Participants in recruitment events, talent communities, networking initiatives, and future hiring programs.
  • Individuals considered for opportunities with Atlantsson's clients and strategic partners.

This Notice applies regardless of whether your application is submitted through the Atlantsson Careers website, LinkedIn, other professional networking platforms, recruitment agencies, email communications, referrals, professional events, social media, GitHub, portfolio platforms, or any other legitimate recruitment channel.

This Notice also applies where Atlantsson proactively identifies and contacts potential candidates based on publicly available professional information.

3. Definitions

Candidate means any natural person who applies for, is considered for, or expresses interest in employment, freelance engagements, contractor positions, internships, consulting assignments, or other professional collaboration opportunities with Atlantsson or with Atlantsson's clients and partners.

Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly.

Processing means any operation performed on Personal Data, whether automated or manual, including collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, transfer, restriction, deletion, or destruction.

Data Controller means the legal entity responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing Personal Data. For the purposes of this Notice, the Data Controller is Nordicwave, MB, operating under the Atlantsson brand.

Data Processor means any third party that processes Personal Data on behalf of the Data Controller under contractual obligations and applicable data protection legislation.

Applicable Data Protection Laws means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the UK GDPR where applicable, and any other applicable privacy and data protection legislation in jurisdictions where Atlantsson operates or recruits candidates.

Recruitment Process means all activities relating to identifying, sourcing, evaluating, interviewing, selecting, onboarding, or maintaining candidates for current or future professional opportunities.
