Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure)

Design the Azure landing zones and platform foundations that enterprise AI workloads run on — infrastructure as a product, not a ticket queue.

Stockholm, SwedenFull-timeHybridSeniorPosted June 15, 2026

Overview

Our Cloud & Platform Engineering team builds the foundations everything else stands on: landing zones, identity, networking, and the paved roads that let delivery teams ship safely. As a senior engineer focused on Azure you will design platform architecture for clients running regulated, AI-enabled workloads — and help them treat infrastructure as a product.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Azure landing zones, identity, and network architecture
  • Build infrastructure-as-code foundations (Terraform/Bicep) and CI/CD paved roads
  • Architect secure environments for AI workloads, including private model endpoints
  • Advise client platform teams on FinOps, governance, and operational maturity
  • Contribute to Atlantsson's reference architectures and internal tooling

Requirements

  • 5+ years in cloud/platform engineering, with deep Azure expertise
  • Production Terraform or Bicep experience at organizational scale
  • Strong grasp of Entra ID, networking, and Azure security services
  • Experience running containerized workloads (AKS) in production
  • Fluent English; Swedish is a plus

Preferred qualifications

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry environments
  • Background in regulated industries

Nice to have

  • Multi-cloud experience (AWS or GCP)
  • Platform engineering tooling (Backstage or similar)
  • Contributions to infrastructure open source

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with annual performance reviews
  • Personal development budget and paid certification paths
  • Flexible working hours built around delivery, not presence
  • Top-tier hardware and a home-office equipment allowance
  • Six weeks of paid vacation plus local public holidays
  • Private health insurance and wellness allowance

Working model

Hybrid — typically two to three days per week in the office with your team, the rest wherever you work best. Client on-site visits are planned in advance and never a surprise.
