Platform Engineer (AWS)

Overview

As a Platform Engineer focused on AWS you will build the infrastructure and developer platforms our UK clients' teams ship on: landing zones, EKS clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and the self-service tooling that turns infrastructure from a bottleneck into a product. You will join a senior team that values automation, documentation, and leaving things better than we found them.

Responsibilities

• Implement AWS infrastructure with Terraform: accounts, networking, identity, guardrails
• Build and operate EKS-based container platforms
• Design CI/CD pipelines and developer self-service workflows
• Implement observability stacks and on-call-friendly alerting
• Support AI workload infrastructure (GPU capacity, model endpoints, data pipelines)

Requirements

• 3+ years in platform/DevOps engineering on AWS
• Production Terraform experience
• Solid Kubernetes operational knowledge
• Scripting/programming ability (Python, Go, or Bash beyond one-liners)
• Fluent English

Preferred qualifications

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with GitOps workflows (Argo CD or Flux)
• Security tooling and compliance automation experience

Nice to have

• Bedrock or SageMaker infrastructure experience
• Multi-account AWS organization design
• Contributions to platform engineering communities

Working model
